New in 2005 : From this year onwards, in order to intensify the guarantees provided by its quality label, Logis de France hotels will be systematically controlled by external specialist firms, using a system of "Mystery Guest"visits. These controls will be carried out amaximum of every 3 years.

The Quality Tourism plan was initiated at the Interministerial Committee of 9 September 2003. To improve the image of France, and create jobs and wealth, quality has become the priority of everyone in the tourist sector, led by the State.

An independent body, AFAQ AFNOR Certification, ensures that hotels with the HOTELcert® label meet their obligations throughout the certification cycle (three years).
