Quality tourism™: the State gets involved

The Quality Tourism plan was initiated at the Interministerial Committee of 9 September 2003. To improve the image of France, and create jobs and wealth, quality has become the priority of everyone in the tourist sector, led by the State.
Hotels, restaurants, campsites, cafes, brasseries, seasonal rental agencies, tourist offices... many tourism professionals have become involved and have been granted the Quality Tourism mark.

The Quality Tourism plan is a range of quality approaches implemented by: networks of tourism professionals, institutions in the local area, or the companies themselves.
... to ensure that establishments that follow these approaches obtain the Quality Tourism mark™.

Selection criteria for quality approaches

The quality approach is for establishments that:
- comply with health and safety rules;
- comply with the official classification, if it exists.

The quality approach:
- complies with national quality requirements;
- is based on an external audit;
- stipulates compulsory processing of customer complaints.

Quality tourism™: presentation of the mark

A quality mark
Quality Tourism™ is a mark that encompasses rigorous quality approaches undertaken by tourism professionals, the objective of which is quality service and customer satisfaction.

A trusted mark
Registered by the Tourism minister, the Quality Tourism™ mark is an expression of confidence for both you and your customers.
